Good News Club

The purpose of the Good News Club is to evangelize boys & girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. This is an after-school evangelistic program that meets on school property. This action-packed time includes songs, memory verses, a missions story and review games. Our church currently sponsors & financially supports Lecanto Primary. Pastor Doug & Pastor Chuck are teachers at the club and have a heart to reach the children in our communities. Our vision is to partner with other churches to be in every elementary school in Citrus & Hernando County. If you would like to sign your child up to attend a Good News Club please print & fill out this permission slip, and have your child turn into their teacher at school. Please call us with any questions, we will be happy to assist in any way possible!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse in which millions of shoe boxes are shipped out to children all around the world. Every gift-filled shoe box is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship- transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! You can get involved by packing shoe boxes and you don’t need to wait until the end of the year to start! We will be collecting boxes and items throughout the year. You can contribute in 3 ways: You can shop for the items, pack your own boxes then bring them to the church, OR you can donate the items you buy and WE will pack the boxes, OR if you do not wish to shop or donate items, you can donate money to this ministry. Every 4th Sunday of the month our freewill offerings will go towards this ministry.

Citrus County Blessings Program

This ministry provides food to children in our local area. The elementary school’s food program, for a lot of children, is the only food they will receive each day. Many children go without food on the weekends. This program provides non-perishable meals given to children at school on Fridays. We partner with other local ministries to help accomplish this outreach.
